Airwindows Consolidated AUv3 is a free, open-source iPadOS AUv3 audio plugin. We don’t want your data and we don’t collect it.

What the app does not do

Audio data

Audio you route through the plugin is processed entirely on-device by Chris Johnson’s Airwindows DSP. It is not recorded, stored, or transmitted.

The standalone host app offers an optional “monitor through microphone” button that lets you audition effects on live mic input. The microphone audio is processed locally in real time and discarded; it is never saved or sent anywhere. The microphone is only active while you’ve enabled the button.

On-device storage

The app stores a small number of UI preferences (theme, control style, collection filter) in standard iOS user defaults on your device. These never leave your device.

TestFlight beta

During the public TestFlight beta, Apple may collect crash logs, device information, and tester feedback you submit through TestFlight itself. That data flow is governed by Apple’s TestFlight privacy policy, not by us. We see only the aggregate stability information Apple shows us in App Store Connect.

Beta signup form

If you join the beta via our signup page, your email address is stored only so we can send you the TestFlight invite. We do not share or sell it. When the app ships publicly on the App Store the signup form will be retired and any collected emails will be deleted.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and contains no inappropriate content, but it is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect any data about minors (or anyone).

Open source

The entire app is open source under the MIT license. You can read every line it runs at github.com/terrordisco/airwindows-c-auv3. If you find any data-collection behavior in the code, file an issue — it’s a bug.
